Our Lithuanian trip by Abigél Schatz & Tomi Buzár

In the following lines we are going to write our experience about the journey.

First of all before this trip there was a 2 years long preparation, and hard work, but it was all worth it.

Now let’s talk about the trip itself. Our journey started on Saturday at 3:30 am, it was quite early, however we were completely fit due to the excitement. For many of us this was the first flight, so we were very curious about it. But all in all it was great.

Our plane landed in Vilnius at 1 pm, and the teachers welcomed us at the airport. After that we were escorted to the hotel, the hotel itself was fair enough I think.

The next day they showed us their school and we got acquinted with the other students. Throughout the whole week we were working seperately in 4 groups. Each group had its own topic, like food, dance, heritage, languages.

Besides that we saw plenty of interesting sites, buildings. In addition we had the opportunity to enjoy the food and drinks as well.

The only downside was that we weren’t really talkative, so we couldn’t make close friendships.

At last but not least this journey was overall an awesome and enjoyable trip and I hope the Hungarian event will be as sucessfull as this one.

Litván mobilitási projekt

Az Erasmus programunkban résztvevő diákok első útja Litvániába vezetett,

2020. február 8-14-ig vendégeskedtünk a vilniusi Gabijos gimnáziumban. Tanulóink számára már a repülőút is élmény volt, sokan közülük először szállhattak repülőgépre.

Nem csak az útikönyvekből ismert épületeket csodálhattuk meg a kirándulásokon, de a gyerekek minden délelőtt vegyes nemzetiségű csoportokban dolgozva meséltek egymásnak különböző témák területén kulturális értékeikről, szokásaikról.

Sok olyan készségre volt szükségük a programok során, melyeket a hagyományos tanórák keretein belül nincs lehetőség ilyen mértékben használni, fejleszteni. Az angol nyelv kommunikációs eszközként való használata, a nyitottság, érdeklődés a hasonlóságok és különbségek iránt, az elfogadás, illetve egymás támogatása mind olyan emberi értékek, melyekre a tantervi tudáson túl nagy hangsúlyt kell fektetnünk az oktatásban.

Az utazások közti időszakokban ezeket a készségfejlesztő feladatokat igyekszünk folyamatossá tenni különböző online felületeken. Az e-twinning portál használata, a blog írás, honlapszerkesztés, videó készítés, Instagram oldal mind lehetőséget adnak a kapcsolattartásra, közös projektmunkára, illetve felkészítik a tanulókat a versenyszféra elvárásaira.

Március 8-15. közt várjuk litván, spanyol és cseh vendégeinket a Letenyeyben. Reméljük, nálunk is hasonlóan élménygazdag hetet töltenek majd a külföldi diákok és kísérőik. Szeretnénk a partner iskolákkal hosszútávú kapcsolatot építeni, hiszen egymás tapasztalataiból, szokásaiból mind a diákok, mind a tanárok, szülők és az iskolák is gazdagodhatnak.

Ezúton is szeretnék köszönetet mondani mindenkinek, aki segíti és támogatja projektmunkánkat.

Parents meeting

On the 29th of January Parents' Meeting

I invited the parents of those children who take part in the mobility to Lithuania and informed them about the details of the journey (time of depature from Felcsút, the flight, arrival in Vilnius and the same data about the way back).
I gave some good advice regarding clothing and other equipments and personal items the students might need during the journey and in Lithuania.
I also informed the parents about the financial background of the journey and the grant the students were going to get to cover their costs.

Szerencsések vagyunk, mivel egy igazi hangstúdióban vehettük fel az útikönyvek hangváltozatát.  Nagyon örülünk, hogy ilyen profi környezetben dolgozhattunk! Köszönjük Kiss Kálmán hangtechnikusnak a lehetőséget!

We are really lucky because we could record the voiced versions of the guides in a really professional studio. We are glad that we could work under such professional circumstances. Many thanks to the acoustician Kálmán Kiss for the opportunity.

Prágai koordinátor találkozó

November 3-6-ig Prágában tartottak megbeszélést Erasmus programunk koordinátorai. Első alkalommal tudtak személyesen találkozni, a három nap alatt rengeteg dolgot kellett megbeszélni a tervezéssel és szervezéssel kapcsolatban. Iskolánkat Judit néni és Ági néni képviselték, akik rengeteg pozitív benyomással és élménnyel tértek haza.

My name is Anita and I’m 17 years old. I live in Csabdi with my family. I have two sisters and I’m the middle child. I meet my dad and grandparents very rarely. I really love travelling and hanging out with my friends. My hobbies are playing piano, doing sports and learning languages. I’m a big animal fan, I have 2 dogs. Hello, I am Thomas.

In the following lines, let me describe myself in a few words.
So, I live in small village called Alcsútdoboz in a detached house with my family. I study in Felcsút in a grammar school and I can proudly say that the school is great and I have fantastic classmates.
In most of my free time I do bicycling, and I am also a big fan of hiking. But what I enjoy the most is hanging out with my friends.
I'm very into languages and history so they are one of the reasons why I want to become an interpreter.
I think that's all I have to say, and I hope you enjoyed my introduction.

I am Vivien Vörös, I'm 16 years old. I live in Bicske with my family. I live with my mom, my sisters, my brother, and my step-dad. I am the oldest sibling. We live in a detached house. Sometimes I meet my father and my grandparents too. I like drawing and going out with my friends. Sometimes we go to house parties and have fun together. I love animals, especially dogs. My favourite kind of dog is Beagle. When I was 4 years old, I got a little Beagle dog and because of this I love them so much. I like travelling but I can't travel too much because we have a really big family. And because of this I'm really happy about this Erasmus program. I love tattoos, I'm just 16 but I have 3 tattoos and I don't think I'll ever  have enough. My future plan is, that I want to be an architect. I like maths, physics and languages.
